Janice Schmidt studied traditional glass and tile mosaic methods in Italy and has incorporated those techniques into her pewter and brass belt buckles.  The designs are inspired by folk art, whimsy, Native American jewelry, funk, irreverence, mythology, poetry, reverence, soulfulness and a passion for glass, found objects, gems and stones.  Black or brown leather belts come with the buckles.
