Donald Frith taught ceramics at University of Illinois, designed prodects for three pottery companies, and consulted internationally on design and production technology.  He also wrote a definitive book “Mold Making for Ceramics” in 1985 which is still in use today.

He has had a long and distinguished career and has received awards from the American Craft Council, the National Council on Education for Ceramic Artists, and the American Ceramic Society.

His innovative teapots are gems of architectural wonder and flower fantasies, each with hand carved wood handles.
