Hopestone Studio clothing is created by a team of remarkable women under the direction of Lauren Dreiling.  Lauren’s artfully designed jackets of woven, raw silk Matka, and luxurious Dupioni silk trim are contemporary and stylish.

The studio was started by fiber artist, Joyce Fogle, in 1985. Lauren helped with production in 1994 after graduating from University of Kansas with a Fine Arts degree in Textile Design. Lauren stayed a year, left to pursue a career, but came back to manage things in April 2009 after Joyce was diagnosed with cancer.  Joyce and Lauren collaborated together until Joyce lost her battle with cancer six months later.

Hopestone Studio dearly misses its founder, but is proud to be carrying on Joyce’s legacy of making beautiful art-clothing in natural fibers that offer comfort and fashion.
