Ed and Margaret Burke, a glass making couple from England, are some of our only artists from outside the U.S. Ed and Margaret's drinking glasses are a terrific marriage of color, whimsy, pattern and texture.

The couple established their studio in 1988, and explored many glass techniques that led them to their "Doodles" line of glassware. A two-layer process is used with a thin layer of color encased over clear glass, then etched to produce semi-abstract patterns forming their distinctive style. The patterns available include Bubble, Circle, Dots, Horizontal Lines, Spiral, Square, Vertical Lines and Zig Zag.
