Ed Levin began designing jewelry in the 50's while at college in New York. He started his business as an individual craftsman in 1953 and by the mid-1960's he had a handful of artisans working for him. Today it is called The Levin Group. His studio is able to reproduce his gold and silver designs with the strictest quality standards, while preserving the work's one-of-a-kind look. Ed's guiding philosophy is "My jewelry is always wearable. You wear the piece; it doesn't wear you. It's good to the touch and easy to get on and off. It's interesting, figurative, and has good proportions."
