At first glance, Margaret Thede's rings have a rustic look, decorated with a random texture. But on closer inspection, the fabricated bands appear to have primitive messages and symbols inscribed on them, something like the rock carvings and petroglyphs of the Southwest where Margaret grew up.

Sterling silver wrapped with strips of 18K yellow gold, comfortable to wear - some of the rings convey different stamped designs as you turn them. The rings are also available in 14K white or yellow gold with 18K details.

Margaret continues to investigate other metals techniques making earrings, cast pieces, small containers, and one-of-a-kind work with gemstones. She has been designing jewelry since 1974 when a student at the University of Tucson, Arizona.
