Simon Muscat was born in Malta but left in 1974 at the age of 18 to study jewelry design in Canada. He's always had a love of sculpture and art, and has continued to explore carving of gemstones as well as wax models for designs to be cast into unusual bracelets, earrings, pendants. In 1998 he studied with one of North America's foremost gem carvers, Thomas McPhee.

Simon's distinctive bracelets of hands embracing a leather cord, though not the only thing he makes, have become his signature pieces. Large hands, small hands, and a new design called "Mojo" are available in sterling silver, 14k or 18K yellow gold with black or brown leather. Appealing to both men and women they are easy to wear, durable in and out of water. The classic and beautifully carved hands are an enduring symbol of friendship and love.
