Stephen Dixon is obsessed with crisp detail and impeccable
craftsmanship. He has become known for very contemporary
architectural rings in mixed golds which juxtapose sandblasted
finishes next to high polished surfaces to heighten
the effect. Men's wedding bands have weight and carved
details, ladies' bands are often formed from a series
of stacking rings, with many options available.
His new line of jewelry is entirely the opposite of
hard-edge.
"Tendrils, the grapevine's elegant grip, are the
source for these pendants, earrings, and rings. Cut
directly from the vine in my own vineyard, and cast
in precious metals, they are a lovely example of nature's
chaotic versatility." Each piece is unique, cast
in 18k and set with gemstones.
After obtaining a degree in Architecture from Ohio
State University, Columbus, Stephen attended the Oregon
School of Arts and Crafts. He has been designing jewelry
and winning awards at national shows for over 30 years.
