In 1980 John Bakula founded Wooden-Images and was joined by his brother Mark, a year later. The two brothers and one employee, "just three guys and some power tools," make beautiful laminated cutting boards that now sell all across the country.

The woods used are Jatoba from Brazil, Purpleheart from South America, African Padauk, and American Walnut, Maple, Oak, and Cherry.

The natural colored wood boards come in assorted sizes, and are completely food safe.
